Dear adventurous music lovers
-OUS is an artist run label for experimental (electronic) music based in Switzerland. Ink!, Feldermelder, IOKOI and JJ launched the label in 2015 to create a sustainable, well-tuned environment for their own productions, and in order to support like-minded musicians and artists from Switzerland and beyond. Since the beginning, the aim has been to find, publish and support outstanding, zeitgeist-outlasting music from forward thinking artists that aim to advance this thing called music. Additionally, we organise shows in Switzerland and beyond, and support our artists in every way thinkable: from strategic discussions, to opening our network for collaborations and hands-on work when it is needed.
As we all know, making a living from music - especially non-conforming, non-streamlined music - has been and continues to become harder and harder, not only for the musicians, but also everyone working in the background, organising productions, running the promotional campaigns, designing covers, creating additional content, etc. We are immensely grateful for every human being that agrees with us and shows their support by actually purchasing a release in digital or physical formats.
